Identify the next session
Confirm that the previous session has finished under your examination procedure before changing its display. Have the next paper’s date, title, start and finish available. A saved exam or an old browser tab may refer to yesterday or to a different room.
Select Exit exam to return to the form. Review the restored date explicitly. A generated display link keeps its original date after midnight; refreshing it is a recovery action, not a way to advance to the next session.
Change the schedule deliberately
- Confirm the paper and room. Replace labels that identify the previous session; avoid personal data.
- Select the next exam’s date and enter its start and finish. Use the next-day option only for a finish on the following calendar day.
- Check the timezone, especially when editing a link created on another device. Unchanged parsed times retain their original meaning when changing language.
- Review the format, title visibility, start, finish and remaining-time fields. Do not assume that the previous paper needs the same display.
- Select Launch Exam Display and read the resulting schedule back against the source timetable.
This version supports one schedule at a time, not a queue of sessions. Changes on one device do not update other rooms. Give every affected screen its own check.
Check screen permissions again
Full-screen and wake-lock status can change when navigating away or when a tab loses visibility. Check the controls after launching the new session and enable the required functions if available. Keep power connected and inspect the actual projected image.
Changing the site language transfers the current form draft within the tab; it does not change the saved exam’s timestamps. Avoid treating a language change as confirmation of the schedule.
Make the handover visible
Before admitting candidates, a designated member of staff should confirm date, paper, room, start and finish on the final display. Check readability from the seats and keep the agreed backup ready. Use the full setup checklist for a different room or device, and troubleshooting if settings cannot be restored.
